“ Ok so if you want premium Carnitas this is the place to go! Hands down absolutely no competition. Carnitas are delicious and reasonably priced. Kind of an interesting set up. If you want to eat in restaurant then the tables are at the front of the restaurant, but if you want food to go then you walk through the restaurant to the back and get in line. You can't miss it, there is always a line. You will see a station with a dude cutting meat. Tell him what you want and walk out with hot delicious dinner. Worth the trip from San Jose. ”

“ OMG. I will drive the hour to this place - every time. The carnitas are amazing and we always get about 10lbs of mixed: carnitas, cuernitos and buche. The person serving will ALWAYS weigh the amount we want and then add to the tray - np charge, as extra. The salsas - you can not go wrong. They also do the pickled carrots that are crunchy. Guacamole is good too! They also have handmade tortillas to order as well as rice/beans. The chicharrones are really good as well. Line goes fast but better to get there early. Plenty of parking. ”

“ Great food! I love ordering a family platter to go for parties or dinner. The mixed carnitas are delicious! Their beans are good too from someone who doesn't eat beans ever (Asians tend to have beans as a dessert and not a savory item so I'm not a big fan usually, but these were great!). ”

“ We drive 2+ hours to come here. The carnitas have always been good! Its been our to go place. The restaurant should however invest in AC System because its humid, hot and so uncomfortable inside on a hot day. The cueritos on the carnitas seemed too pale than other times, not sure if the carnitas have been cooked different or in a rush. The guy serving the carnitas doesnt seem like he does what he does in a good mood, not a smile, not friendly vibe, doesnt try to engage with the customer like the guy who used to be there. ”

“ The best carnitas in the area. They need to expand the restaurant, they are very limited to seating if you're dining in. They give you your food in a Togo container, which you may find kind of odd, but you won't have to ask for a to go container afterwards. ”
